Detail design of connections is performed by our engineers and technicians to SANS 0162 in accordance with our clients specifications and specific requirements. With sound technical knowledge and many years of practical experience we offer cost effective yet technically correct engineering solutions.

CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGY

As a service to our clients we offer a Construction Methodology service to assist in the planning and constructability of complex fabrications and structures. All our projects undergo a thorough pre-detailing engineering evaluation by our technical team of engineers and technicians to investigate, design, and implement Connection Details, Construction Aids, and Construction Methodology.

DETAILING

Detailing is performed on StruCAD and Tekla – the most modern  3D modeling software. A CAD / CAM link connects our detailing office with our fabrication shops. All cutting, drilling, punching and marking data is automatically downloaded to the latest CNC machines for error free processing.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

All technical data is automatically downloaded into the © FabTrol MIS system. We are able to manage the following processes through © FabTrol: Drawing Control, Material Management, Material Nesting, Fabrication Control, and Shipping Management.
